Location: Jepson Room 113
Date: Sat, April 21
Time: 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM

This workshop is intended for student leaders on campus interested in delving deeper into what it means for Gonzaga to host international students. We will begin with a brief overview of our international community, highlighting the diversity of personal and academic goals represented. Then, using the Servant-Leadership characteristic of community building as a starting point, together we will explore questions such as 1) what does an international/intercultural community at GU look like? 2) What is the role of student government in the creation or sustenance of such a community? 3) Do home-country hosts and international guests have different roles to play? 4) Which attitudes or competencies would best facilitate relationship and community building? The session goal is to share information and perspectives, increase awareness, and brainstorm
