Building and Sustaining Culture in Organizations - A Proposed Case Study

Location: Jepson Room 108
Date: Fri, April 20
Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

This presentation will explore a proposed research project focused for a Canadian Not For Profit Organization. With the Founder and several key leaders poised to retire, there are concerns related to cultural legacy within the organization. The project will incorporate leadership interviews, including the President, The CEO and senior leaders to understand their perception of the organizational culture, artifacts of the culture and any shadow side. From these conversations, and building on research related building and changing organizational culture, there is a request to create a 1-day workshop for emerging organizational leaders (defined as not currently managing people but assessed as high potential), understanding their role in building culture as leaders.
